Maestro Eric Jensen

Eric received his tailoring training in Rome under Maestro Luigi Gallo 2009-2012, apprenticed in the US under bespoke tailor Chris Despos for several years, and then opened his own sartoria in New York City in 2017.  He grew such a large quantity of clients and therefore, partnered with his maestro for a few years as Sartoria Gallo NYC.

At this time, he opened a new sartoria on Madison Ave in the Upper East Side and continued to perfect his method of creating suits with little construction and comfortable wear.

In 2023, Eric decided to part ways with the Gallo brand, and was given the role to lead the bespoke suiting for Stefano Bemer, a Florence-based bespoke shoe brand, located on Park Avenue in New York City. He is available by appointment only for bespoke consultations at 475 Madison Ave, or via travel to trunk show locations.

Eric is adamant about the standard of his work being maintained and upheld regardless of the umbrella he is under. He does his craft completely bespoke, and it is his hands that draft each individual pattern, cut the cloth, and apply the personal fittings. Eric has worked intently to build a team at the Bemer workshop in Florence, Italy, that maintains the bespoke standards and methods that Eric was trained in and developed. Eric is also trained in crafting bespoke for women in this same method, with a growing female clientele.
